Legendary Globe-Trotting African-American Heavyweight Contender and Boxing Hall of Famer from Oxnard, California by way of Waelder, Texas.
Fought Jack Johnson, Sam Langford, Harry Wills, Battling Jim Johnson and many other greats of his day.
Vintage Postcard / Trade Card issued by a Pharmacy in France. Complete with a testimonial by McVey. Rare and very interesting piece advertising an Athletic Liniment Oil.
Size - About 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" inches
Condition - About VG condition with general handling wear. Some soft corners as shown.
