Welterweight Champion and Boxing Hall of Famer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by way of New York City. Active from 1903 to 1913. Fought Joe Gans, Frank Klaus, Leo Houck, Willie Lewis, Georges Carpentier and many others. Jewish boxer.

Date - Image is c. 1900's. Actual photograph is a later generation print from the c. 1930's-40's or so.
