Lightweight out of Chicago, Illinois by way of Gary, Indiana. Active as a pro from 1941 to 1949. He was also a decorated Amateur fighter. Fought Freddie Dawson, Ray Salas, Cleo Shans, Jackie Graves, Willie Pep, Billy Graham and many others.
